# Studio

> A detailed guide to creating a video with Studio in YupVid.

**Studio** is the most complete way to create a video in YupVid. You can enter a script, import content, manage media, choose a voice, configure the video, generate a storyboard, and review scenes before rendering the final video.

After you log in, open **Studio** or go to:

```text theme={null}
https://yupvid.com/studio
```

## Studio screen overview

The Studio screen has three main areas:

* Left sidebar: Switch between **Studio**, **Bulk Create**, **Article to Video**, **Projects**, **Platforms**, and **Billing**.
* Main editor: Enter the script, import source content, manage media, and generate the storyboard.
* Right setup panel: Configure language, video length, voice, effect, theme, watermark, and ending.

Studio starts on the **Text to Video** screen. This is where you prepare source text, preview scenes, refine the storyboard, and create the final video.

## Enter a script

In the main editor, you can type or paste your script directly into the script field.

The editor placeholder says:

```text theme={null}
Start typing here or paste any article you want to turn into a short-form news video...
```

Write enough detail for the AI to understand the topic, the key facts, and the story angle.

## Import source content

If you do not want to type the script manually, click **Import** in the bottom toolbar.

The **Import source** modal gives you two options:

* **Upload file**: Upload a document from your computer.
* **Import URL**: Enter an article URL and let YupVid extract the content.

## Upload a file

In the **Upload file** tab, click **Choose File** and select a source file.

Supported formats include:

* `txt`
* `md`
* `html`
* `pdf`
* `docx`
* `csv`
* `json`
* `rtf`

After you select the file, click **Import**. YupVid will place the extracted content into the script editor so you can review and edit it.

## Import a URL

In the **Import URL** tab, enter an article URL.

YupVid will extract the article content and place it in the script editor. This is useful when you want to turn an existing article into a short video.

If a website blocks extraction, copy the article text and paste it into the script editor, or use **Upload file** instead.

## Manage media

Click **Media** in the bottom toolbar to open the **Project Images** modal.

Media is where you manage the images used in the video. The modal has three tabs:

* **Upload**: Upload images from your computer.
* **Stock Images**: Search for images from available image sources.
* **AI Images**: Generate images with AI.

## Upload images

In the **Upload** tab, drag images into the upload area or click to choose files.

Supported image formats include:

* `PNG`
* `JPG`
* `WEBP`
* `GIF`

After upload, images appear in **Selected Media**. You can use these images as visual assets for scenes in the video.

## Stock Images

Use **Stock Images** when you need quick visual assets and do not want to upload your own images.

This is useful for general topics, news, education, explainers, and other videos that need supporting visuals.

## AI Images

Use **AI Images** to create images with AI.

If the project has no images, YupVid may ask whether you want AI to create images for the project. You can choose different image styles to match the video topic.

## Script and Scenes

At the top of the editor, Studio has two tabs:

* **Script**: Enter or edit the text source.
* **Scenes**: Review and edit scenes after the storyboard is generated.

Recommended flow:

1. Prepare the script.
2. Add media if needed.
3. Configure the video.
4. Click **Generate Storyboard**.
5. Open **Scenes** to review and edit the storyboard.

## Generate the storyboard

When the script and settings are ready, click **Generate Storyboard**.

YupVid creates a storyboard from your script. The storyboard breaks the video into scenes so you can review the structure before rendering.

Review the scenes before creating the final video.

## Video setup

The **Video setup** panel is on the right side of the screen. Use it to configure the video before generating the storyboard or rendering the final output.

## Language

Use **Language** to choose the language of the video.

Choose the correct language so the script, voice, and subtitles match.

## Video length

**Video length** has three options:

| Option     | Estimated length  |
| ---------- | ----------------- |
| **Short**  | About 60 seconds  |
| **Medium** | About 90 seconds  |
| **Full**   | About 120 seconds |

Choose **Short** for a concise video. Choose **Medium** when you need more explanation. Choose **Full** when the topic needs more detail.

## Voice

Use **Voice** to choose the narrator voice.

Click the voice field to open the voice picker. YupVid includes more than 1,800 voices across many languages.

In the voice picker, you can filter by:

* **Language**
* **Accent**
* **Gender**
* **Age**

You can also search by keyword or voice ID.

## Choose a voice

Each voice card shows:

* Voice name
* Voice description
* Tags such as language, region, gender, and age
* A preview button
* A **Use** button

Click the preview button to listen before selecting a voice. When you find the right voice, click **Use**.

## Effect

Use **Effect** to choose overlay and transition effects.

If you do not want to customize effects, use the default setting or **Auto** if it is available.

## Theme

Use **Theme** to choose the visual style, colors, and layout of the video.

Choose a theme that fits the content. For example, news content can use a strong, urgent style, while educational content may work better with a clean and readable theme.

## Watermark

Use **Watermark** to add copyright or brand text to the video.

You can configure:

* **Enable watermark**: Turn the watermark on or off.
* **Text**: The watermark text, such as `yupvid.com`.
* **Position**: Where the watermark appears, such as `top-right`.
* **Color**: The watermark color.

Watermarks are useful for protecting content and increasing brand recognition.

## Ending

Use **Ending** to configure the final scene of the video.

You can add:

* **Logo**: Upload a logo with **Choose File**.
* **Logo text**: Brand text.
* **Website**: The website to show.
* **TikTok**: TikTok account.
* **Facebook**: Facebook account or page.
* **Instagram**: Instagram account.
* **X (Twitter)**: X account.
* **Voice Over / Subtitle**: A closing line that the AI reads and displays as subtitles.

The ending is useful for showing your brand, website, and call to action at the end of the video.

## Save the configuration

After you adjust the settings in the right panel, click **Save Config**.

Saving the configuration keeps your selected language, voice, effect, theme, watermark, and ending settings for the video.

## Recommended workflow

1. Open **Studio**.
2. Enter a script or use **Import** to upload a file or import a URL.
3. Open **Media** to upload images, search stock images, or create AI images.
4. Choose **Language**.
5. Choose **Video length**.
6. Choose **Voice** and preview it before using it.
7. Choose **Effect** and **Theme**.
8. Turn **Watermark** on or off.
9. Configure **Ending**.
10. Click **Save Config**.
11. Click **Generate Storyboard**.
12. Open **Scenes** to review the storyboard.
13. Render the video when everything looks right.

## Notes before creating the video

* Review the script before generating the storyboard.
* Choose a voice that matches the video language.
* Add media first if you want control over the visuals.
* Use AI Images if you do not have your own images.
* Turn on watermark if you want your brand to appear on the video.
* Fill in the ending if you want a clear final scene.
