> YupVid adds new video formats, Scene animation, subtitle controls, effects, themes, and voice speech speed in Advanced config.

## 3 new video formats

You can choose **Story format** before creating a video. For each video format, AI adjusts the script to better match your content goal.

| Video format     | Best for                                                     | How AI adjusts the script                                                                         |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **News**         | News, quick updates, and timely content                      | Writes in a news style, gets straight to the point, and focuses on key facts.                     |
| **Storytelling** | Story-driven videos, emotional content, or narrative content | Builds a clearer beginning, middle, and ending so the story flows naturally.                      |
| **Explainer**    | Explanation videos, tutorials, and concept breakdowns        | Organizes the content in an easy-to-understand structure with clear explanations and conclusions. |

By default, YupVid selects **News**. You can change the video format in **Advanced config**.

## Advanced config

Open advanced settings by clicking **Advanced** in the right-side menu.

To open advanced settings:

1. Look at the configuration panel on the right.
2. Click **Advanced**.
3. In the **Advanced config** modal, choose a video format under **Story format**.
4. Review and adjust the other advanced options.
5. Click **Apply**.

### Scene animation

**Scene animation** lets you choose how much motion each scene has in the video.

| Option                     | Best for                          | Behavior                                                                  |
| -------------------------- | --------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Automated Scenes**       | **News** and **Explainer** videos | Adds full scene movement to make the video feel more dynamic.             |
| **Media + Subtitles Only** | **Storytelling** videos           | Focuses on media and subtitles, which works well for storytelling videos. |

### Subtitle controls

You can also configure subtitles in the **Advanced config** modal:

* **Subtitle position**: Choose where subtitles appear.
* **Subtitle style**: Choose the subtitle display style.
* **Subtitle font**: Choose the font used for subtitles.

### Visual and voice controls

The other advanced options help you tune the video style:

* **Effect**: Choose the video overlay effect.
* **Theme**: Choose the text color and effect color.
* **Voice speech**: Choose the voice reading speed.

### Recommended usage

For news or explainer videos, choose **News** or **Explainer** with **Automated Scenes**. For storytelling videos, choose **Storytelling** with **Media + Subtitles Only** so viewers can focus on the story, visuals, and subtitles.
